Weeks before Chinese New Year's Eve, Auntie Merrie and Maellie are busy awaiting the bloom of the plum blossoms in their "Flower Village" home. Rolleen comes over to help make a complete list of the spring flowers already budding in their flower farm garden. Mommy brings along a number of New Year gift hampers for Auntie Merrie's family, packed with jumbo packets of shiitake mushrooms, fresh pineapples, sweet cakes, blackcurrant champagne bottled juice and more. As always, Ronnie loves riding his bicycle around the spacious lawns of their close relatives' home. As for Kiki, she shares her self-handmade artificial plum blossom flower decorations and New Year ornaments with her best cousins. Rolleen also remembers to distribute her self-designed red packets to everyone for New Year's use. Together, everyone then gathers in the kitchen to make traditional sweet New Year cakes to gift relatives and friends in town over the coming big celebration.
